Madrugada Clothing is a streetwear brand, piloted in 2019, under the Summer In Roxbury Inc. umbrella. Madrugada originated as a love letter from it's founder, Nan to her neighborhood of Roxbury, Massachusetts.

The name "Madrugada" holds a special significance and hints at a theme of it's creator Nan's own creativity. In addition to being a clothing designer, she's also a Peabody winner and Emmy nominated television producer. "In Spanish and Portuguese, it translates to "the moment before the sun rises." When I started Madruguda, I was in the darkest part of my professional career but I knew change was about to come so I kinda leaned in and embraced it. I started making hats and t-shirts for myself and people started asking where'd I get them. I just became way bigger than I imaged." she explains. "Everything I do is an ode to the neighborhood I grew in. Roxbury really changed the trajectory of my life, for the better. There's this stigma around urban neighborhoods but Roxbury really gave me the tools to believe my dreams are attainable. Clothing is another way for me to tell our stories." Nan says.
